Dear friends and brothers:
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your love and kindness towards our ministry and our family. God has been faithful at all times and He is helping us in the work for which He has placed us here in La Sierra, so that many people can hear the Gospel of Salvation and, now especially, that the children can come to know Christ.
Now our mission continues with a new member in our family, who, God willing, will come into this world next month or early February. We are very grateful and excited about this blessing that God has sent us and, at the same time, in response to so much favor, committed to the work that represents continuing to preach His Word faithfully in these communities.
There is no more urgent work than bringing people to Christ for the salvation of their souls.
Thus, in the face of this challenge, I ask God to renew my strength and that, in His will, He continues to guide me to reach the sheep that will be part of His flock. The need here is still pressing, where there is much darkness and indifference towards the Truth. But I am certain that, in His time, the Lord will do the work in hearts and save His people in these places.
Meanwhile, we encourage ourselves in the divine promises that assure us that God will help us fulfill the purpose for which we have come here, and personally, I have no other goal in this life but to make His holy name known among these people, and thus, that a Church may be raised for the glory of Him who died and rose again to be praised.
Acts 20:24 NIV
[24] However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
Certainly, this is the work of God, and He is in control. It is His will to redeem His people and lead them to worship. That is why we strive and ask Him to use us for His work in these places, for without Him, we can do nothing.
Finally, we wish you a Merry Christmas in memory of Him who came to give us light. May next year, God willing, allow us to continue with the mission that He has entrusted to us, with confidence and courage, knowing that God always takes care of His work.
God bless you greatly;
Heber González and family.

Good night dear sister; how is your health today? I hope you are better. Peyi and me have cold, we are taking medicament and te, and we will be good in some days more.
Today I write this letter for you and your friends. Maybe some parts of the letter are incorrect because my English is not good, but I hope you can understand my words.
Please say thank you to all them and thanks to you too.
Many blessings,
Heber Gonzàlez Herrera.
